No Mistakes
I am a firm believer that there are no mistakes in life. Every interaction we come across has been designed with love for us by spirit. The interesting thing about being human instead of an animal or insect is that we have free will (aka: choice). This trait that humans possess is what separates from all other species and makes us more evolved. The key is understanding and using this free will correctly. We have a choice each day to play it safe in life based on our limited understanding of the world that primarily gets formed by our past and experiences. We have a choice each and every day to learn something new and broaden our scope of understanding. I feel that especially in the world we live in now, with information at our fingertips, is a wonderful time to be alive and be a student on Earth.
I am currently studying the science of meditation. For many centuries, meditation has been practiced by people all around the world and I feel has a bit of mysticism to it. I have really enjoyed learning from Dr. Joe Dispenza through reading his books, and watching his interviews and workshops on YouTube and Hay House. He was a chiropractor before he became a neuroscientist and when he was a chiropractor many years ago, while he was competing in a triathlon had an accident and was told by doctors that he would never walk again. Needless to say, he used the techniques of reprogramming his mind (what he teaches all over the world today) to heal himself and has committed his entire life to understanding and teaching the mind body connection.
I could go on and on about this man, but for time sake I will close by saying that life is happening for us. Each interaction with a person is a gift and in Dr. Joe Dispenza's case - his accident was clearly a gift in disguise that has led him to be the leader in neuroscience research and help millions of people around the world take their healing into their own hands. I am currently using the book "Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself" to understand my current limiting beliefs and reprogram my mind and way of thinking through meditation.
I taught a free outdoor yoga class in June and a friend of mine showed up to take the class. I had not seen her in many moons and it was great to reconnect. What I didn't realize is the blessing that would come following our encounter. She invited me to room with her and attend the Hay House Live event that is happening in Las Vegas in November. I was so excited to get the invitation. I have been a Hay House follower since I was introduced in 2016 (I had been encouraged to check out Hay House in 2015, but didn't listen) ; I love their authors and speakers. Dr. Joe Dispenza is a Hay House author/speaker and will be at the Hay House event in Las Vegas!!! How cool is that? My friend and I will be attending Dr. Joe Dispenza's lecture on Saturday. I can't wait to be there with her sharing in the journey of discovering, improving and finding more love and peace in our hearts
