I am a creator, and so are you.
Throughout my adulthood, I remember taking thousands of pictures back when it was 35mm style anticipating the development of those pictures and excitingly putting them in the scrapbook. This was my first introduction to creativity - actually I take that back. When I was little girl I played the piano as well as twirled the baton in the backyard like no ones business. The scrapbooking was in my twenties, it was simple yet fun for me and I absolutely loved sharing my creations with friends or family. In the midst of my downsizing my life, I’ve recently thrown those scrapbooks away trying not to cling on to my past and create more space for living in the present moment. Material things always stress me out a bit, but I didn’t realize it until I got rid of many things and once I get rid of them, I feel a lightness in every aspect of my life. In the past week I have begin to realize I have a desire to create more video content and pictures now it’s more focused online instead of scrapbooks but the more I think about it the more it makes me get excited and I realize that documenting my thoughts as well as adventures/lessons in life is my creative outlet. I also love gardening as a creative outlet as well. There is a creator in each and everyone of us human beings, however, we have been so programmed in our society to repress that creativity. This could have happened when you didn’t draw or color well as a child, or maybe you never realized you were a creative since there was none in the family. We are living in a time where you could still work your regular job and do your creative enjoyment on the side while possible even make that into a small business or into a large business. The trick is you have to start somewhere you have to start small. There is no big business corporation or company on this planet that didn’t start from a small idea of a dreamer. I am a daydreamer, my name is Terrish. I get kicks out of enjoying nature, being active, loving and creating something from all of that combined together. What makes you come alive? What do you enjoy the most? If you could do one thing and not worry about money or time what would it be? These are the questions I am starting to ask myself more on a regular basis. I’m not concerned about the money, I trust the universe will provide abundance in my life. I am not concerned about the lifestyle that it will bring me, however, this lifestyle excites the shit out of me. My question lately is “what makes me feel alive” and my response is “I need to go to do more of that”
What creativity is living dormant deep inside of you? It’s like a sleeping volcano ready to erupt…. are you ready to get the lava flowing and come alive?
