Whoa!

I am at a bit of a loss for words on how to explain how I am feeling this week.  To say that moving from a 1200 sq ft home that I lived in all alone to a tiny teardrop trailer with a temporary side tent is a shock is an under statement.  I am not going to lie and tell you that things are all peachy and easy for me right now, however, this is what I wanted.  I wanted to get uncomfortable, learn new lessons, new hardships, and experience new things.  I will tell you that when it is not cloudy and raining, I love getting out of my trailer at night to take a pee pee in nature.  The beauty of the night sky never ceases to amaze me with all of its twinkles and perfect designs. Last night as I was getting ready for sleep, I crawled outside my trailer with no light on (the sky was pretty lit up) I like my eyes to stay acclimated to the dark as much as possible.  Well, a friendly little bat decided to swoop down and pay me a visit.  I am sure the cute little thing was only a wee bit curious of who was hanging out in his neighborhood so late at night and with no lights on, but for a bit, I may take a little light outside so I don't get spooked by Mr. Bat again because I am certain if anyone heard me scream last night, they probably thought I saw a bear, but it was only a little bat.

I will catch up on writing this weekend, however, I am trying to adjust and adapt to my new way of living and it has been a lot more challenging than I thought, mainly regarding organization.  I don't mind sleeping and living in my camper, I actually prefer the simplicity of it all.  However, the most challenging piece is that event though, I don't have much "stuff"  I currently have more than I need  and I am going to give myself a few weeks to live this way to see what I can toss and what I will need to keep.  Other than that, things are good.  The weather is being pretty chill right now.  Nothing below 52 degrees and nothing above 80 during the day.  I had a nice Sunday filled with rain and OOPS, I forgot to put my rain cover on the tent.  The tent proved to be useful escape from the rain before getting into my camper trailer with wet clothes and at the moment the tent is an extra storage space while I figure out things (slowly)

I forgot to mention, I am currently parked on my friends property behind their garden.  What is cool about where I am parked is they don't see my camper from inside their home due to their abundance of grape vines along the gardens edge.  I am happy they can't see the camper so it isn't a sight for sore eyes, however, I am going to be moving off their property for good on Monday Labor Day to a campground to really experience the - distance from comfortable living.  I haven't yet experienced it fully, because I can walk in my friends home anytime of the day where they have a nice big fridge and kitchen and cozy vibes.  I hope to create the same coziness in my little camper as the story continues.
